How to read your position
The checker reports the position of your site for the search you enter, from 1 to 100. It also shows which page of your site ranks, so you can see whether Google is sending people to the page you expected. Google's top 10 for that search are listed next to your position, so you can see who is ahead of you.
A position is not a fixed number. It is the rank Google returned for that search, in the country you chose, at the time you ran the check. Use it as a snapshot, not a permanent score.
Why rankings differ by country, city and device
Google results change with the country you search from. The checker lets you choose a country, so you can see the rank a customer in that country would see. A site can rank well in one country and not appear in another for the same words.
Rankings can also differ by city and by device. The checker reports the country you choose, and the rank is for that country. If you search yourself from your own location, you may see a different result from the one the checker reports.
Rankings and Google AI Overviews
The checker shows whether Google displayed an AI Overview for the search. If an AI Overview appeared, it also shows whether that AI Overview cites your site. This tells you whether your page is being used as a source in the AI summary, not just in the standard results.
A ranking on Google is not the same as being named by AI assistants. The free AI check shows whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI name the business for the same kind of search, and who they name instead.
Tracking rankings every week
A single check is a snapshot. Every Vasukai plan tracks Google rankings every week, by country or city, next to AI visibility on 9 assistants. That lets you see how your position moves over time and whether AI assistants are naming your business.
The free checker is for one search at a time, within a daily number of free runs. It is free, with no sign-up. If you need regular tracking across countries and cities, the paid plans cover that.
Questions
Is it free
Yes. The website rank checker is free, with no sign-up, within a daily number of free runs. Free tools that ask ChatGPT allow 2 runs a day without an account and 25 a day after a free email sign-in, with no card.
Why is my rank different when I search myself
Google results change with the country you search from, and can differ by city and device. The checker reports the rank for the country you choose, at the time you run it. Your own search may reflect your location and device, so it can differ from the checker's result.
How often do rankings change
Rankings can change at any time, and a single check is only a snapshot. Every Vasukai plan tracks Google rankings every week, by country or city, so you can see movement over time. The free checker is for one search at a time.
Does ranking first mean AI assistants will name me
No. A ranking on Google is not the same as being named by AI assistants. The free AI check shows whether ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI name the business for the same kind of search, and who they name instead.
